Towcester Food Festival

Our sister festival

Launched in 2014, Towcester Food Festival has grown to become one of the most successful food festivals in the country. It takes place in June in the beautiful parkland setting of Towcester Racecourse.

We want to replicate its success at the equally atmospheric setting of The County Cricket Ground with the Northampton Winter Food Festival, a celebration of aritsan food and drink and an early opportunity to shop ready for Christmas.

We were inspired to launch Towcester Food Festival by the achievements of the Ludlow Food Festival which has has helped to invigorate the local food culture and boost the tourist economy in Shropshire.

We want to do the same thing in Northamptonshire and help energise the local food economy. Please help by either visiting the festivals or volunteering. Our volunteer Festival Makers are quite literally the life blood of the events - we couldn't do it without them. For more information on volunteering, go here.

The festivals have to make money in order to survive but our volunteer programme means we able to give money away to good causes locally. In the last three years, we have given away over £4,000.

At the festivals, stall holders make connections they may never have made and we also support food start ups. All in all, we like to think we are a force for good.
