Things for Kids

Cookery classes and more

If you're bringing the kids, there's plenty to keep them occupied. As well as our cookery classes, where children can enjoy a bit of hands-on foodie fun and make some child-friendly dishes to take home, there are more activities this year.

Catharine Tarburn, from Catharine's Little Bookshop, will be running free story telling sessions thoughout both days. The sessions take place at 11.30am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm, 2.30pm and 3.30pm on Saturday and 11.30am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm and 2.30pm on Sunday.

There's no need to book. Just grab a spot and wait to be transported by fairytale princesses, dungeons and dragons. Let's hope they enjoy it as much as the three boys pictured below!

As well as cookery classes and free story telling sessions, Lisa Fong, from Calico Faces, will be offering facepainting for little ones.

All the children's activities will take place in the Hevey Suite, which is on the opposite side of the cricket field from the entrance, next to Food Hall 2.
